BEAR MARKET is SUNDAY JULY 12th & THURSDAY JULY 16th 2020, 10am-4pm in Provincetown, MA

BEAR MARKET VENDOR APPLICATION/REGISTRATION  2020 - we will notify vendors as quickly as possible - please read below for more info. 

BEAR MARKET is SUNDAY JULY 12th 10am-4pm at The Commons for & at The Crown & Anchor for Thursday JULY 16th 2020, in Provincetown, MA (Times may vary based on TBD Events at the venue) YOU MUST SELECT EACH DAY SEPARATELY IN THE CHECKOUT PROCESS (there is no charge to apply)

Greetings potential Bear Market Vendor or Welcome Back if you have been a vendor before. This is Bear Market's 11th Year! As we have in the past we are not charging vendors to be part of the market we just ask for a donation at the end of the day that we will pool together and give to local charities or local non profits. Most vendors in the past give around 5% of what they made that day. We've raised over $20,000 for SKIP and other local charities since we began in 2010. 

We will be holding Bear Market at 2 locations this year - The Commons on Bradford St. for Sunday & The Crown & Anchor for Thursday. Each day must be selected separately & for Sunday at The Commons we will have vendors both in their main indoor space as well as their parking lot. For the indoor space each vendor will get a 5' table (you must provide your own table cloth) These 15 tables are existing in the room and we ask that you keep your display to table area ONLY or on something free standing behind you (we can't attach anything to the walls, an art exhibit will be taking place on the walls around the room while our event is there). For the Parking lot area we are planning for around 10 tented spaces, for a 10'X10' white tent, if you have your own tent you can bring or borrow that will be GREAT as we only have a couple, but if you would prefer on outdoor space and need help with a tent please contact Shane to make arrangements, Tables for the outdoor space we hope to be borrowing from The Ptown Bears or other local sources, but if you can bring your own that would be great. On the checkout form for the Vendor Applications please choose your preference of an Indoor Space or outdoor space - if you choose outdoor please contact shane to confirm that you will provide your own tent or if you need one. There will be power available in the main room if you need to plug something in, & we will bring some long extension cords for the outdoor area for vendors needing power. Chairs should be available on site. Any other questions let me know.  

Each day must be selected separately & for Thursday at The Crown and Anchor we will have a combination of indoor and outdoor spaces, tables and tents will be provided by the venue, Please bring your own table cloth. Please select your preference if you would like an indoor space at a 6 to 8' table or one of the outdoor spaces, we only have so many spaces so we can't guarantee we can make it happen. We also have room for a couple "standing room only" vendors if you can operate in a very small space, please note your preference in the notes line of the checkout. We always aim to have a diverse group of vendors and a focus on Art, Craft and things handmade. If we have a large number of vendors doing similar items we can only accept a couple in order to maintain a diverse group and not be oversaturated in one area. Our aim is to showcase a variety of creative vendors from within the bear community and it's supporters with unique products and or services. Additional Signage will be put up to get more foot traffic and to better direct customers into the club. We will be printing a Post Card that each vendor will receive to help with promoting the event. (TBD)

I will announce via email & online when Registration is closed and when we are full. We will have a Waiting List for any vendors that didn't make registration in time, if we have any cancellations.

VENDOR REQUIREMENTS - (& Vendor code of conduct noted below that you agree to by submitting your vendor registration) 

Each vendor may only have (1) ONE space - if you select more than one in the checkout it will be changed back to one.

"Bear Week Provincetown", "Bear Week Ptown", "Provincetown Bears", and "Ptown Bears" are all registered trademarks of John Burrows dba Provincetown Bears.  Any commercial use of these trademark names, on any sort of items (included but not limited to T-shirts etc) must have prior approval" to get in contact with John Burrows or for more information, please contact Shane at info@ruffstudio.com.

You must be the one that makes the items You are selling. You will also be responsible for dealing with state tax requirements, health codes, and poses a state resale tax ID number/certificate. 

YOU are responsible for registering with the state and paying any Mass state sales tax on your sales if that applies to you and your work, & if you plan to sell food of any kind proper permits are required & available on request, please let me know and I can forward the application to you. TERMS AND CONDITIONS (With Applying/Registering for the VENDOR Fair you agree to the following)

I agree to abide by the rules established by the Crown and Anchor for Conduct of Business.

I will do NOTHING to deface, mar or damage resort property. (Nothing Fastened to Wall or Ceiling without Permission) 

I Understand that the Property Owners cannot provide ANY security for my Merchandise or Property before/during/after the Market.

I will make my OWN security arrangements for my Merchandise before/during/after the Market.

I WILL NOT display porn, adult toys or other items not suitable for minors - our event is open to the public and subject to town laws and regulations. 

I agree to the Market HOURS - Opening at 10AM and Ending 3pm or 4pm (& WE MUST BE OUT BEFORE 5pm)

I agree to work well with ALL other vendors and work PEACEFULLY and Help in any way I can to make it a successful event.

I Understand that SHANE RUFF STUDIOS has FINAL say on vendor placement in the space - and WILL make necessary changes as they come up.

I WILL Maintain my booth and surrounding area CLEAN and ORDERLY & Conduct Business in Compliance Business Laws and Within the Laws of the State of Massachusetts DOR & not hold Shane Ruff Studios liable for any issues that arise from your participation in the event.

I agree to NOT SUBLET my space to ANYONE. 

I AGREE that these rules must be observed and if not you WILL be removed from the premises. 

EACH DAY OF THE MARKET IS IT'S OWN PRODUCT PROFILE - Please Register for each day separately - then to complete your registration you much complete the check out process like in a regular on-line shop - there is no payment or credit card needed.
