BEAR MARKET July 12th and 16th 2020 in Provincetown MA, Our 11th Anniv.

BEAR MARKET is SUNDAY JULY 12th & THURSDAY JULY 16th 2020, 10am-4pm at The CROWN & ANCHOR in Provincetown, MA (Times may vary based on TBD Events at the venue)

Greetings potential Bear Market Vendor or Welcome Back if you have been a vendor before. This is Bear Market's 10th Year! The space for our market is VERY limited at the Crown, Vendor Spots are first come first served, I will draw up a plan for placement in advance so if you have a special request please note that, and as long as you fit the vendor requirements & as long as we don't have too many other vendors selling similar items, you should be all set, but we will email you to confirm receipt and let you know within a week or so. There is no cost to be a vendor but since this has always been a fundraiser we do ask for a donation at the end of the day (usually people give around 5% of their sales) that we pool together with the Ptown Bears other donations and give the money to the Provincetown Soup Kitchen. It's been an important part of the event since the beginning to give back to the community and since our first event we've now raised approx. $20,000 over the last 7 years. The Ptown Bears and the venue will be providing the tables as in past years but we do ask if you have a table that you want to bring and use that is fine - please do bring a table cloth and any extension cords if you need power. 

Bear Market has been Produced, by Ruff Studio (Shane Ruff) since 2010, for the Ptown Bears, Bear Week in Provincetown, MA - for more information on Bear Week go to PtownBears.org     http://www.ptownbears.org/ - The Ptown Bears will be taking over production of the Market next year - this year will be a transition year. 

Additional Signage will be put up to get more foot traffic and to better direct customers into the club. We will be printing a Post Card that each vendor will receive to help with promoting the event. (TBD)

I will announce via email & online when Registration is closed and when we are full. We will have a Waiting List for any vendors that didn't make registration in time, if we have any cancellations.

VENDOR REQUIREMENTS - (& Vendor code of conduct noted below that you agree to by submitting your vendor registration) 

Each vendor may only have (1) ONE space - if you select more than one in the checkout it will be changed back to one.

"Bear Week Provincetown", "Bear Week Ptown", "Provincetown Bears", and "Ptown Bears" are all registered trademarks of John Burrows dba Provincetown Bears.  Any commercial use of these trademark names, on any sort of items (included but not limited to T-shirts etc) must have prior approval" to get in contact with John Burrows or for more information, please contact Shane at info@ruffstudio.com.

You must be the one that makes the items You are selling. You will also be responsible for dealing with state tax requirements and poses a state resale tax ID number/certificate. 

Notes on Set up and Break Down = 

Day of Set up is from 8am to 10am (the indoor space gets cleaned that morning and sometimes they can't get the room ready till 9, so some vendors may have to que up outside and wait to get in)- First Pull in, unload your things and then go find off site parking. LOAD out starts at 3 or 4pm (depending on what time we close) and MUST happen Fast for the club to get ready for that evening's events.

YOU are responsible for registering with the state and paying any Mass state sales tax on your sales if that applies to you and your work, & if you plan to sell food of any kind proper permits are required & available on request, please let me know and I can forward the application to you. TERMS AND CONDITIONS (With Applying/Registering for the VENDOR Fair you agree to the following)

I agree to abide by the rules established by the Crown and Anchor for Conduct of Business.

I will do NOTHING to deface, mar or damage resort property. (Nothing Fastened to Wall or Ceiling without Permission) 

I Understand that the Property Owners cannot provide ANY security for my Merchandise or Property before/during/after the Market.

I will make my OWN security arrangements for my Merchandise before/during/after the Market.

I WILL NOT display porn, adult toys or other items not suitable for minors - our event is open to the public and subject to town laws and regulations. 

I agree to the Market HOURS - Opening at 10AM and Ending 3pm or 4pm (& WE MUST BE OUT BEFORE 5pm)

I agree to work well with ALL other vendors and work PEACEFULLY and Help in any way I can to make it a successful event.

I Understand that SHANE RUFF STUDIOS has FINAL say on vendor placement in the space - and WILL make necessary changes as they come up.

I WILL Maintain my booth and surrounding area CLEAN and ORDERLY & Conduct Business in Compliance Business Laws and Within the Laws of the State of Massachusetts DOR & not hold Shane Ruff Studios liable for any issues that arise from your participation in the event.

I agree to NOT SUBLET my space to ANYONE. 

I AGREE that these rules must be observed and if not you WILL be removed from the premises. 

There is a file you can download as part of your registration (but you do not have to fill that out and mail it or email it to me) your filling in the information on this order will suffice - you can fill that out for your own records. (I've never done a registration form thing on here before so let me know if there are any issues) - ALSO I will have POST CARDS printed & mail them out to vendors to distribute and digital versions of the marketing pieces for you to use on your own Web Sites, EMail Campaigns, Facebook Pages etc. 

EACH DAY OF THE MARKET IS IT'S OWN PRODUCT PROFILE - Please Register for each day separately - then to complete your registration you much complete the check out process like in a regular on-line shop - there is no payment or credit card needed.
